Thai Visa for Certain Nationals from the Middle East, South Asia and East Asia

 

 

Visa for Afghanistan and Irag  Iran, Lebanon, Libya, Syria, Sudan, Algeria, palestine, Yeman, Egypt, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh,Srilanka,Nepal Visa Thailand

 

 

Passport holders, UK travel document or nationality of country namely, Afghanistan, Algerian, Bangladesh, Cameroon,Central African Republic, China, Democratic republic of the Congo, Republic of the Congo, Egypt, Equatorial Guina, Ghana, Guinea, India, Iraq, Iran, Liberia, North Korea, Lebanon, Libya, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestine, Sao Tome and Principe, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, and Yamen are requested to apply for Thai visas at the Royal Thai Embassy in London only.

 

For the diplomatic, official or UN passport holders, if they do not have residence status in the United Kingdom or Ireland, but wish to enter Thailand urgently to attend meetings or any conference, seminar training, hosted by Thai government agencies, state enterprises or International organization in Thailand, the applicants are requested to apply for visa with a letter from their Ministry of Foreign Affairs and/or letter from the event organiser in Thailand.
 

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

The Royal Thai Embassy in London can issue visa to the passport holder of the above-mentioned countries, provided that the applicant obtains a residence in the United Kingdom or Ireland

 

  1. Passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months
  2. Three (3) Visa application forms completely filled out (4 applications for Iranian)
  3. Three (3) recent 45 millimetres (mm) high x 35 mm wide photographs of the applicant (4 photographs for Iranian)
  4. A confirmed return air ticket / flight information (These can be flight details shown departure date, flight number from UK-Thailand and Thailand-UK.) You must show all routes if there are stops in between. We will not consider your application if you do not have a return flight details. 
  5. Address in Thailand/Hotel Reservation should be completed on the application forms. 
  6. Letter from school/employer/self assessment
        If you are working, you are required to submit a letter from your employer. The letter should have 
        the headed paper of the Company stating your current position addressed to the Royal Thai          
        Embassy, London to certified your working status.If you are self employed, you should submit a       
        copy of your self assessment paper,a copy company registration document or any other type of    
        document confirming your working status. 
        If you are student, you should submit the letter from the school/University addressed to the Royal
        Thai Embassy confirming your status. 
  7. Bank statement in UK current account (3 months)
  8. A photo copy of current passport / travel document
  9. A photo copy of UK visa or indefinite leave to remain (prove with original)

In addition, the applicant needs to provide the following:

  • For working or business purposes: Letter from employer/company in Thailand
  • For studying or educational purposes: Letter of acceptance from educational institute in Thailand as an example

please note: We will keep all supporting document, if you wish to have your document back, please photocopy before submitting. 

 

 

The visa fee is 25 pounds for Tourist visa (Single Entry)  or 50 pounds for Non Immigrant visa (Single Entry) We do not have authority to issue multiple entries. 
 

When submit your document
Anyyone applying for the visa (the whole family) must attended to the Embassy Mon-Fri between 9.00 hrs.-12.00hrs. You should allow sometimes to apply for the visa but not more than 3 months before travelling. 

 

Passport and Visa Collection
If your applications are successfull, you can collect the passport and visa next working day between 11.00hrs.-12.00 hrs. Anyone can collect the visa on behalf of you with the receipt.

2. Iraq and North Korea

    You can submit your application along with supporting document below. After submission, your application will be sent off to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be considered. This will take at least 4 weeks. You will be requested to come in person again if your visa has been approved. The visa will be granted and ready to be collected the next working day.  Acoording to the long process, please allow at least 2 months before travelling to apply for the visa before travelling.
