For Thai people in the Republic of Ireland in cases of passport expiry or loss

For Thai people in Republic of Ireland who have lost their passport or have an expired passport and wish to travel to the United Kingdom to get a new passport, please prepare the following;

  1. File a report of your lost passport at a local police station. In order to obtain a temporary
         passport; a police report certificate is required (for cases of lost passports).
  2. Two fully-completed copies of Form 2 – Investigation (applicant information).
  3. Two fully-completed copies of Form 3 – Replacement of lost passports request form (for cases
         of lost passports).
  4. Two fully-completed copies of Form 4 - Temporary passport request form.
  5. Three recent photographs (size 2 x 2 inches).
  6. Two copies of Thai ID card or Thai House Registration or Birth Certificate.
  7. A postal order or a bank draft of 18 pounds payable to Royal Thai Embassy, London.
         This covers the fee of 10 pounds, plus 8 pounds for returning temporary passport by special
         delivery mail.
  8. Send all documents above (1-7) by post to Royal Thai Embassy, London. Please write
         on the corner of the envelope “For Temporary Passport”.

After you have received a temporary passport, you can apply for a UK Visa to travel to the United Kingdom to get a new e-passport from the Royal Thai Embassy, London


E-Passport applicants must apply in person at Royal Thai Embassy, London.
